In the era of modernization and westernization when most of people are moving away from their own culture and history, events like Ethic Day celebrations make us love and respect our own culture and history. Such an 'Ethnic day' was celebrated amid great joy at Pragati College of Engineering and Management, Sejbahar on 7th February, 2012 which was a sort of tribute to India's diverse and vibrant culture.

Ethnic Day

The whole college seemed to be charged with ethnic atmosphere. All the students and staff members, turned out in their traditional apparels with great enthusiasm. There were a lot of activities in the afternoon session . A Ramp show was organized for the students. The students walked the ramp dressed in vibrant and colorful ethnic attires from different parts of country. Games like 1 minute show and dumb - Charades were also played among students and staff.

The event ended with an interesting round of surprise game where the participants were awarded on basis of the things they carried and characteristics of apparel they wore.
